1- June-1929 V. Shantaram, S. Fattehlal (Sheikh Syed Fattehlal), Vishnupant Damle and Keshavrao B. Dhaiber, alongwith Sita Ram Kulkami, founded the 'Prabhat Film Company' at Kolhapur.
