23- July-1933 Jatindra Mohan Sengupta, great leader, lawyer, social worker, freedom fighter, nationalist and president of Bengal Swaraj Party, died at Ranchi. He was addresed by the people of Bengal as 'Deshapriya' (Beloved of the Country).
